Road tolls in Albania: Kalimash, Thumanë-Kashar and Llogara

There is no national vignette for passenger cars. Individual sections are tolled, notably Milot-Morinë including the Kalimash tunnel, and Thumanë-Kashar near Tirana.

Information checked:

Vehicle category and payment

The table prices are for a standard passenger car without a trailer. At Kalimash, the category depends on axle count, height, twin wheels and trailers. Vans, motorhomes and cars towing trailers use the relevant category defined by the section's operator.

At the Kalimash toll station, pay at a staffed booth by bank card, in Albanian lek or with euro banknotes. Lanes marked ETC are for vehicles with an OBU device and prepaid passages. Cash and Visa/Mastercard payments are advertised for Thumanë-Kashar.

Llogara tunnel towards the southern coast

The announced passenger car tariff is 250 ALL, but the start of collection has been postponed. At the information check on 27 October 2026, it was not unambiguously confirmed whether the charge was already being collected.

The tunnel links Dukat and Palasë and shortens the journey to the southern coast.
