- A typical two-axle car with a height above the front axle of up to 1.30 m; a two-axle van up to 3.5 t with an overall height of up to 1.90 m.
- II
- A category I car towing a trailer; a two-axle van up to 3.5 t with an overall height above 1.90 m.
- III
- Typical heavy vehicles with two or three axles; a tall van up to 3.5 t towing a trailer.
- IV
- Heavy combinations with at least four axles, height above the front axle exceeding 1.30 m and maximum permissible mass over 3.5 t.
