Before you travel
The CNG/LNG discount does not apply to LPG. For a foreign-registered electric or hydrogen vehicle, the official portal requires an exemption notification.
Which vehicle category?
- Vehicle up to 3.5 t
- A vignette is required for a motor vehicle with at least four wheels. Motorcycles and trailers do not need a separate vignette.
- Natural gas / biomethane
- Reduced tariff for CNG, LNG or biomethane. LPG uses the standard tariff.
- Plug-in hybrid
- Reduced tariff for CO₂ emissions up to 50 g/km.
- Electric / hydrogen
- Exempt subject to the applicable conditions; foreign-registered vehicles require advance notification of exemption.
For vehicles over 3.5 t, check the MYTO CZ system. Eligibility for a reduced tariff is based on the powertrain and CO₂ emissions in the registration documents.
